Refunds, Returns and Rights of Cancellation
Our refunds and returns policies are created with a view to fairness and legal requirements. Please read these thoroughly, as our policies are different according to the type of event or product that you purchase. Should a refund be due to you, we will process it within 10 working days from the date that WWI acknowledges that a refund is due to you. Refunds are generally processed by credit card or by issuing a cheque in your name. Please also view our terms and conditions, as this document governs your usage of this site.
Online Courses and downloadable material: William Whitecloud International has a no refunds or returns policy for all of our online courses and downloadable material. In the case of The African Journey online interactive course, whilst no refunds are permitted, you may transfer the dues you have paid (less a $40.00 administration fee) to another course within 12 months of the date that you paid for your course. Your transfer request must be made in writing, to: , and must be received more than 7 days prior to the start date of your course. For downloadable products only: if a product becomes permanently unavailable following a transaction but prior to a download, your sole remedy is a refund. If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of your downloadable product, your exclusive and sole remedy is either replacement (in some cases, a copy may be posted to you) or refund of the price paid, as determined by WWI.
Community: Community membership is paid by recurring payment, month to month. You may cancel your membership at any time, provided that you give WWI one month’s notice of cancellation. The procedure for cancellation is to send an email to: , to indicate that you wish to cancel your membership. Your next payment will then be taken at the normal due date, and your credit card payments will be cancelled from then onwards. You will have access to the community until your final month is complete, at which point your community access will cease.
Products: This applies to physical products received by mail or purchased at a workshop, or bonus products included in the registration for a workshop. It does not include online courses or downloadable material. You have the right to cancel any order of goods only in the following circumstances: if WWI has failed to deliver the goods ordered within 28 days after the date of the order. Notice of the wish to cancel must be made to: . If the product(s) is faulty, you may return it in its original packaging to: William Whitecloud International Pty Ltd, 621 Georgia Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94306, and you will be provided with a new product in full working order. The cost of returning the faulty good(s) will be incurred by WWI, and refunded to your payment method, or you will be sent a cheque. For the avoidance of doubt, save in respect of faulty or defective goods, nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Use shall give you the right of cancellation in regard to the products.
Workshops: This sections applies to live face to face workshops, not online courses or events. The refunds and returns policy for all face to face workshops, excluding the African Soul Safari, is as follows: Cooling off period: Within 7 days of your registration deposit, you may at any time, notify us via email to: that you wish to cancel your registration. If you do so, we will refund to you the total amount you have paid for that workshop registration less the value of any products received by you or shipped to you as part of your registration. Should a refund be due to you, it will be processed within 10 working days from the date that WWI acknowledges that a refund is due to you, and will be in the form of a credit card refund, or a cheque made out to your name. Deposits and payments for workshop registration: WWI will not deem you to have registered for a workshop until such time as we receive from you a payment that is equal to or greater than the minimum deposit required for the workshop. The minimum deposit amount will vary from workshop to workshop. In the case of the Master Your Destiny 7 Day Training for instance, the minimum deposit is $750.00. By paying your minimum deposit you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of WWI workshops and you agree to pay in full the amount that you have agreed to pay for the workshop as a whole. Once you have confirmed your enrollment by paying a deposit, you may pay the remainder in full or go on a payment plan. If you elect to go on a payment plan, payments will be deducted from your credit card on the dates specified in your enrollment pack. If WWI is unable to process your payment on any of the nominated dates, we will contact you by phone or email to advise you of the payment deadline. You will be required to make alternate payments arrangements immediately. If your alternate payment method is again unsuccessful, a late payment charge of $30.00 will be incurred and added to the outstanding payment. Any payments that remain outstanding for longer than 30 days will incur an additional 10% charge on the outstanding amount at that time. All payments for workshops must be complete before the commencement of the workshop that you are enrolled in. Your participation agreement must also be signed before the commencement of the workshop. Cancellation Policy: If you choose to cancel your enrollment within the 7 day cooling off period, and do so in writing to: , there will be no penalty to you and your payment will be refunded in full within 10 working days. After the 7 day cooling off period, you have these options: you may transfer your enrollment to another participant, or you may cancel your registration and receive a credit to your account that must be used within 12 months. Transferring your Registration to another Attendee: If you cannot attend the workshop for which you have registered, your ticket is transferable to another person, provided that you supply us with the full contact details of your substitute person at least twenty one (21) days before the workshop begins, and provided that this person notifies us via email their acceptance of your transfer and their signed participation agreement. Once the transfer has taken place, the transferee will be bound by the same terms and conditions as you - the original workshop ticket holder. Workshop registration cancellation, to receive credit: If you choose to cancel your enrollment for a workshop for any reason, other than within the applicable cooling-off period, or in accordance with any state or federal law, you will receive a credit for the total amount you have paid, less the value of any bonus products you received with your registration. Credits may not be claimed as refunds, but may be applied towards your registration in any other workshop offered by WWI within 12 months of your registration date. You must provide WWI with notice in writing that you intend not to attend the workshop and wish to apply credit to your account: . You agree that WWI may not facilitate the same or a similar workshop again, and that there is no obligation on us to do so. Only in the case where there is no workshop at all available for you to transfer into within the 12 month period, may you claim a refund of your monies paid, and this amount will be less the value of any bonus materials your received as part of your registration offer and a $250.00 administration fee. You understand and agree that many workshops through WWI involve travel on your part to attend the workshop, and that this is at your own expense and can not be stated as a reason for cancellation or non-attendance of workshops. If you do not reschedule as per the conditions stipulated above, you will forfeit the money you paid to attend and you will have no other claim against WWI for refund or compensation.
The African Soul Safari: The African Soul Safari is a special case. You understand and agree that the price for the African Soul Safari includes all your food and accommodation, as well as the workshop component and special events from the beginning to the end of the Soul Safari. You understand and agree that the African Soul Safari begins and ends in Johannesburg and that any flights or accommodation that may be required by you before or after the safari in coming to or from the safari are wholly your own responsibility. To book your place on the Safari, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit. You understand and agree that if you choose to cancel your enrollment your deposit and any further monies you have paid towards the safari are completely non-refundable and you agree that you will have no further recourse to WWI in the event that you do cancel.
